The AAMCO in Edmond provided me with excellent service. I initially took my 2020 Ford Transit 350 XL to a Ford dealership on NW Expressway for routine maintenance and mentioned that my vehicle was a bit hesitant while driving. They kept my vehicle for a couple of days for diagnostics and concluded that I needed a transmission replacement. They gave me two quotes: $10,000 for a new transmission and $5,500 for a rebuilt one. I decided to seek a second opinion from AAMCO. AAMCO also kept my vehicle for a couple of days for diagnostics and determined that there were no error codes and the transmission was operating properly. AAMCO could have easily taken advantage of the situation given that a certified service dealership had recommended a transmission replacement, but they were honest enough to tell me that I didn't need one. It's difficult to find honest and trustworthy auto service mechanics these days, but it's a blessing that AAMCO is still around.
